Date: Tue, 20 Mar 2007
Subject: Report from Perm

On the 12th we had Bible study at the drug rehab hospital. There were 13 teenagers. We showed there tricks, sang songs and told Gospel. After that we had a time of fellowship with the children and prayed together. Many of them have lost hope to change their life and only God can heal their souls. We pray for them.

On the 15th we had a trip to Dobrynka and Polasna. We visited a shelter in Dodrynka. There were 13 children, ages 10 to 14. We showed there our skits and played with children. At the end we prayed and all of them receive Lord Jesus us their Savior! We had wonderful fellowship with director of the shelter; she invited us to drink tea with her. She showed us the photographs of their children. And her heart is very open for God!

In Polasna we visited a hospital there were about 40 children. We showed there a very funny program with clowns skits. After that we prayed with the children.

On the 16th we visited another orphanage. There were 10 children. We told them about God's dreams for them. And they listen to us very carefully. We continue to pray about this orphanage about God's grace and mercy to them.

On the 17th we visited another orphanage. There were about 30 children. We watched cartoon there "You are a special person". After that we discussed the cartoon with them and we prayed together.

God bless you! You are in our hearts and prays!

On the 5th we had Bible study at the drug rehab hospital. There were 17 teenagers. The children said that they had been waiting for our meeting all week. It's so great to see God's work in their hearts. God's Word changes their priorities in life step by step. And we can see this every time we come there. Last week on the 5th we had Bible study at the drug rehab hospital. It was a wonderful time there! There were 16 teenagers ages 13 to 17, and two ladies. We bought four cakes to celebrate with those who had birthdays in January. We had a fun time of fellowship with the children. Then we finished our program and some of them left but most of the children stayed with us to listen to songs.

To our surprise one of the boys who stayed with us was Igor, he is 17. Several weeks ago he heard us tell about God for the first time. He was very interested to know about faith in God. We prayed with the boys and they were very quiet. Igor received Jesus into his heart. It was a real testimony of the glory of God because before Igor laughed at those who believe in God. Igor lived in a Perm orphanage that we were not permitted to minister in because of the director. The Lord brought Igor to the rehab hospital so he could hear the gospel. Igor asked us to pray for him so please join us in praying for him.

I want to write about one more boy in this place, his name is Vity, and he is about 12 years old. He is very open to God. He told us that his mother is in the prison and he lives with his father. Vitya wants to become a priest in Orthodox Church. He is not afraid to pray in front of the other children. He has a hunger and thirst for God but he had never heard about the living God before.

We visited an old people's home in Kuria. They had 14 elderly people there. We showed them our special program and then we prayed with them. They accepted Christ into their hearts! Praise the Lord for His mercy and love! He gives a chance to everyone who comes to Him.

On Wednesday we had a trip to Osa. We visited an old people's home there. We have not visited there before. There were about 30 elderly people there. Some of them said that they have never read the Bible. One granny was so happy to hear about God that she invited us in her room and gave us potatoes and mushrooms. We gave them mittens and hats.

After that we visited a big orphanage in Osa, they have about 250 children. So we showed our program for big audiences. In this orphanage the children have mental and development disabilities. Their ages are 4 to 18 years old. They were very thankful hearers. We gave them balloons (we made nearly 250 balloons for them!!!). Many of these children received the Lord Jesus as their Savior!

On the 9th we visited another orphanage. We made handcrafts with the kids and had a good time of fellowship with them. We need to pray more about how the Lord would have us minister in this place.

Next week we will open one more Sunday school in another orphanage. We have two sisters from the church who want to serve there with us. We told the director of the orphanage and she agreed with our program. Praise the Lord! Please pray about this ministry. It is the desire of our hearts to have such Sunday schools in every orphanage.

Now it is very snowy in Perm and we had frosts again. Praise the Lord for our car and a new alarm system!
God bless you!
We continue to pray for you and we love you,
Galya and Natalie
